  • 1.  APIs for ServiceDesk 7.5

    Posted Mar 15, 2014 09:47 AM

    Hello All,

Not sure if this a possibility, however, I have been asked to provide access (read only) to the APIs and its documentation of ServiceDesk 7.5 which our development team would in turn use to integrate their respective application to Service Desk. The goal of this activity is to get access to the ServiceDesk application database.

I had provided an approach of generating a workflow to collect that data and push it to a shared location in a form of csv or xml, however, Management denied the approach and had requested access to APIs.

I am not sure from where do we get that.

I did got some leads from a different post of mine, however, reposting it here as I am more specific to ServiceDesk 7.5 now.

Kindly share some ideas / thoughts / leads / guidance on this.

    Thanks

The only APIs for ServiceDesk are the web services that are part of each moduel (Incident, Change, & Problem).

    Hello TGiles,

    Thanks for the response.

In that case as they are part of core models, how do I provide those web services to our development team for their project or is it not possible at all?

I hope I am able to explain my query better.

    Thanks
