  • 1.  "[App] has changed..." Network Application Monitoring is OFF

    I keep getting the popup on my workstation saying "an application has changed since the last time you used it. This could happen if you have updated it recently. Click Detail to see more information. Do you want to allow it to access the network?” If I log in to SEPM, Network Application Monitoring is off for all groups.

    It only started yesterday, but it pops up all the time for a bunch of applications. How can I get rid of this?

    Check the local client itself to see if a change was made.

    Open the GUI, under NTP select Options >> Change Settings

    Under Traffic Settings is "Enable network application monitoring" checked?

    "Enable network application monitoring" on my local workstation is not checked.

    Was this every enabled at one point and then turned off?

    Create a new group, ensure it's off, move the PC to the new group and verify it picks up the new policy. Then test it again to see if it stays off. If so, move back to previous group.

    Also, what's the exact version here?

    did you check on SEPM side?
