I need some help in customizing device control message .

I know we can set a message in the message box while blocking a device .

The problem is in the following senario ...

Suppose we block USB in device policy and allow USB disk only ....

and if we put a custom policy ...

"The device is blocked due to IT policy"

It is fine when a device is blocked and message is fine ..... but the problem comes when the device is allowed for the first time from being blocked ....

    The message would come as

    "The device is enabled .

The device is blocked due to IT policy "

This makes you look stupid ...

HAs anyone faced a similar issue and how can we resolve this

You would need to do a GPO to stop that part about it being enabled. That is apart of Windows, SEP cannot control that.

    Hi

As understood you said that when a USB is inserted you receive a messaged device is enabled successfully and then it is disabled right.

This happens when the drivers are loaded for the first time.  So it by default and as designed
