    Hi everybody,

I have seen a case where Encryption Desktop caused performance issues once Outlook 2010 has been started on the machine.

It turend out that they had a very similar issue as the one described in TECH201475.

The difference is that the system became unresponsive and killing the outlook.exe task didn't help in that case.

I hope it helps someone out there.

Since Outlook 2010 is not supported until PGP 10.2, just wondering if your PGP version might be related to your difficulty?

    Hi Tom,

good question. The client version in this case was 10.2.0 without any MPs installed.

At first, I saw the issue, but I didn't connect it to the performance drop.

They told me they didn't change the client configuration. Well.

Is there any scope to upgrade to 10.3 or at least a later MP of 10.2.x?

The solution from TECH201475 is to upgrade to 10.3 MP1

    This solved the issue, eventually.
