Application Healing

I have CMS ver 6 running in my environment. I wish to setup an application that has an "application healing" feature. That is if a user deletes files from that directory it will put them back. I have done many apps that deploy various apps but have never setup a healing feature, this is the first I need of it.

I can figure most of the process out I think but I don't know which product does it. Is it app metering I need, or some other solution? I am not currently using software virtualization (don't think we purchased the product, we just have CMS1). Can I even do what I want to do with CMS1 or do I need some other solution.

Once I can figure out what solution does this I can figure out the rest on my own.

THanks for any help you can offer.

I think you're talking about

I think you're talking about Application Management as the specific solution for this issue.  I've not used this specific function before, but the reference guide might have some help.  As might someone else.

I also know that some MSI installs have a self healing feature.  For that you'll want to make sure to set your Install Source to a specific directory that will be available to your end users' computers.  It can be copied locally during the Software Delivery install or put on a network drive they can all access.

Normally the Self Healing for a MSI is set within the MSI you can modify that type of information with Wise Package Studio.
