Hello.

I would like to monitor the usage of ms visio this is due to license restrictions. I have made an attempt at configuring this previously but the results it gives back are practically useless.

Please can someone give me some advice and pointers on how to configure this to see accurate reports about the usage of ms visio all versions and not the viewer.

Ideally you should use the built in Product Definitions supplied by Symantec and use parameters in Reports to differentiate between versions.

However, you can edit the "Software Name" field on the Inventory tab to be:

visio -viewer

You then need to add the correct programs in to the "Meter/Track usage" tab to tell App metering which executables to monitor for Visio usage.
