  • 1.  Application Metering on Windows 7 & Server OS

    Hi,

     

    Kindly can any one let me know can we apply Application Metering on Windows Server OS and on Windows 7 systems because I need to Apply application metering on Windows 7 and on Windows Server OS.

    I have seen Inventory Solution user guide in which its is not recommending to apply on Windows Server System and also that Application Metering is only applicable on Windows XP/Vista Machines

    Hi Hussain,

    You can track usage of managed software products, meter, and deny Win64 and Win32 applications on Windows XP and above client computers (incl. Windows 7). Software-based usage tracking and application metering are not supported on Windows servers.
