When I try to join the machine to the domain using CMS 7 the task fail every time. What is teh best way to join a computer to the domain using CMS? Any ideas on why it is failing?
The account running the job must be a valid domain account, I think any account is valid, but if not you might want to try one with escalated privileges.
What fails? Is there an error message in the console?
The account does have elevated domain privileges. I use it to join machines manually. The earlier error message said the agent for this task type is not installed. Now all it says is failed. What plugin could it be talking about. It has the Deployment plugin, pc anywhere, inventory and the base Agent plugins as well.
