Hi,

I have read that the lic file you use for DS licensing should be stackable?  I have just finished setting up 6.9sp4.  During the install I used our latest lic file which is for 100 nodes.  I now want upload my other lic file with the extra 250 licenses.

I ran license.exe located the lic file, it selects eXpress.exe and PCT.exe to license, I click OK it says license applied.  When I open up the console again it says I am still over my license (of 100 nodes).

Any ideas why this is not working?

Symantec support provided me with a combined .lic file.  When I attempted to use the licensing portal to combine the files, it wouldn't produce a combined lic for me, just a text file which I can't use with the license.exe utility.

Applying the combined lic file provided worked.

I beleive my issue was that I applied the newer license first instead of the older one followed by the newer one.  I couldn't be 100 sure though.
