Appointment Body Text Size or Zoom

    I use touchdown to get outlook e-mails, calendar appointments, contacts and tasks from our company.  We use live meeting for just about everything these days and so our appointments contain the live meeting information in the body of the appointment.
    The text is incredibly small when viewed in touchdown, guessing maybe 1 or 2 point font size... if I was to put my finger on the text it would cover about 5-6 links at the same time and makes it virtually impossible to select the correct dial in number to use. It seems any of the font settings I have found and tried to change have no impact on the text within the appointment itself. 
     
    How do I increase this font or zoom in so the message is large enough to actually be able to click the phone numbers?
    Is there a pinch to zoom or magnifying glass like for e-mail or some other setting i can change?  
     
    Using a new samsung galaxy 6s (but problem was also experienced on my 4s)
    Server side is using outlook 2010

    Hi,

    That's rather disconcerting. I've heard of some issues similar to this on the week view, however the detail view is new. Are you using Touchdown for Smartphones or Touchdown HD? Touchdown HD is generally better for devices on Android 3.x or above, so you may want to try using that if you aren't. (Note that you'll need to uninstall the smartphones version prior, but note that your license for Touchdown for Smartphones will also be valid for the HD version.)

    Let me know if that helps, or if you are already on HD.

    Using Touchdown HD on a new Samsung 6S initial install so I would say all versions are the latest.  

    I've learned it's a known problem with an upcoming release that should fix it and hopefully soon.

    Hello, New to the forums and this is the closest thread I have found that addresses my issue. Running Touchdown HD 9.0.00344. The calendar in this application is tiny. I mean really tiny. Can't be read. Not only the text in appointments, but also the day\date. It doesn't matter which view is chosen (day, week, month, etc). I have found no way to adjust this feature. Any suggestions? I'd upload a screen shot but Touchdown prevents it.

    Hi,

    If you increase the calendar zoom in Touchdown settings>calendar does that help?

    Thought I would check in as it's been about 6 months and I still have the problem, did that update get completed and pushed out yet?

    I'm on version 8.5.00094

    Hi,

    If you are using Touchdown HD, it's already out. We haven't pushed to Touchdown for Smartphones yet.

    Zoom function works ok, but icons for recurring / private, etc.. on calendar don't scale up with zoom function.    They are practically invisble on newer phones.

    Hi Peter thanks for the tip.  I confirmed I have my view is set to 500% but still not showing the invitations any larger or allowing me to zoom dynamically.   I wish I could screen print to show you but our company security policy won't allow it :(

    Touchdown settings>calendar does not help. It's impossible to zoom into the body of appointments. The font size is very very small, I cannot read that.

    Using Touchdown version 9.0.00412

    Android version 5.1.1

    How can I select a bigger font size for the appointment body?

    Hi,

    There's no setting for that currently, but the dev team is aware and is fixing it.

    As a temporary fix, so you can read the calendar notes,  rotate the phone in landscape mode.  fonts get bigger, can pick phone numbers etc..

    Peter, can you tell me a time horizon for the bug fix (without any guarantee) ?

    The touchdown app is really great,

    but the topic is quite annoying  ;-(
