Take at look at this KB

You'll need to look at the entire error to determine which solution may be causing the issue. The example in the KB article is Asset 6.2, but that most likely won't be the case with you. Hope this helps!
EMercado is right on
Check the Altiris log files (not the Microsoft logs), you are most likely missing a .Net Assembly that is needed for the view\object to load properly.

Hi, i
Hi, i get
Altiris.AssetControl, or one of its dependencies, was not found.
Which of the solutions i need to reinstall in order to get the altiris.AssetControl working?
Service&Asset Management Suite - Level I ?
Is this free solution?
Thanks
This would be Service and Asset Level 2
or, Asset and CMDB 6.5 (clicking on either link will update you properly). This solution is NOT free. Did you have it installed as an evaluation?

HI, i am not sure..
The thing is that i installed altiris.. but i had a problem with the server and had to reinstall it using the same database stored in a different server.
Now when i go te resources i get this error.
Do you think this is because in my old installation i had this solution installed?
I think some of my licenses are not installed correctly.. do you think it might be the cause?
Thanks
Invalid licenses would just cause Asset\CMDB
to not work, it wouldn't corrupt the .net assemblies. Also, the assemblies are really compiled .dlls so they would be physically installed on the box. So, I would have to agree that they most likely were on the other box.
The options are somewhat limited. You may need to consider reinstalling again, perhaps on a fresh database. This could open up a whole bunch of different issues though.
It is possible to copy or move 'move' a .net assembly over, if you have a test system where you could install Asset\CMDB 6.5. I have used this great, freeware utility to this effect in the past.

You can try installing Asset Management or CMDB Solution 6.5
each references the other.

altiris_cmdb_6_5.exe and altiris_cmdbreport_6_5.exe
and now it works..
THANKS!!

When I try and install the latest Assset management update, I get an error saying CMDB must be installed. Would I not already have this if I have been using Asset Management? I also get the 'dlgPicker2.aspx' error. If I install the CMDB will it overwrite any customizations? Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.
What version of NS\Asset are you using?
Please provide some details.
