Archive Search has no results in Outlook

Hi,

I have a customer that uses SEV with client version 9.0.13509.

Some users complain that when they perform an Outlook (2010) search, even with the Virtual Vault selected, they do not get a result.

Other users have search results, incl. items that are stored in the VV.

 

We checked and confirmed that VV is part of the local Index list, so it gets indexed.

Only difference I sometimes see (not in all occasions) is that we use the NL version of the Outlook Add-in. One user that has problems have switched to English MUI.

 

I'm looking for experience with this problem that searches don't produce any outcome on one machine and do on the other.

It's a managed workplace environment and the machines are all "the same"

 

I know little information at the moment, but if you have some pointers for me to look at, it's very appreciated.

The client is also 9 SP1?
Any change of upgrading the client to the latest 10 SP2 cumulative hotfix, from 9 sp1 to 10 SP2 there are so many VV/VC related fixes and I'm pretty sure search is one of them

Make sure you then install the hotfix for EV9 to enable full client 10 functionality:
