Is there a way to archive computers previously deployed and have DS not look at them when a new client boots up to see if it already exist?

we have lots of servers that were deployed using Altiris over the last year "removing the Aclient after the imaging jobs" and now it has come around and some of those servers has been retired or re-named and re-imaged. "we still want to keep this records"
Problem is when one of those servers are needing a re-image we have to find it in the all computers container and delete or assign a job and if computer name is different then we have to find the MAC that it registered with the first time. "problematic with multi NIC servers and of servers that had its serial number changed via system board replacements"
this is some what time consuming trying to find computers.

we still want to keep the old records for Audit.

it would be better if I can just create a folder by month with in Computers in Altiris DS and move any servers that have registered and some how not allowing DS search it if it already exist or not when it is time to re-deploy it that sme hardware.

I guess basically I want altiris to just register any machine that boots up to DS via CD or PXE regardless if it already exist.

Once a computer with the same primary key, like MAC address comes online and connects to DS it will overwrite the old record so I don't see a way to do this.
