When I run the archiving task in report mode, it gives me all sorts of good information. The question I have is:

What is the difference between the "No of archivable items" value and the "No of items ready to archive"?

How to use Report Mode to test the Exchange Mailbox task

No of archivable items

An archivable item is one that Enterprise Vault archives when the item meets the archiving criteria. An archivable item must be one of those listed in the message classes that Enterprise Vault archives automatically.

No of items ready to archive

An item that is ready to archive is an archivable item that meets the archiving criteria and so would be archived on a real run of the Exchange Mailbox task. Depending on the number, it could take more than one run of the Exchange Mailbox task to archive this number.
