Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Are the EVTQFAST and EVTQUEUE files processed as first in first out (FIFO) or is there another logic to the processing ??

Although the queues work on different threads, the first files in the queue (10 in the fast, 3 in the normal - unless you modify this as most people do), get processed first. I've seen some strange things over the years, but this has generally held true.

FIFO is what I was taught in training.  I tried to find the references, but failed.
