When you create a Centralized Exceptions and configure the exception type Security Risk Extensions, are the file extensions case sensitive or not?

A link to a PDF/manual/technical article where Symantec has said anything about it will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

hi, its not case sensitive.

hi,

its not case sensitive. You can test by testing and see by manually scanning any of the files that has been set as an exception.

hi

its not case sensite, you are generally execluding a folder or file and these are not case censitive,
you cannot have two folders which are case sensitve like symantec, or sYMANTEC,
so its not case sensitive at all.

Centralized Exceptions

No its not case sensitive however, Symantec has determined that the tamper protection drivers do not understand wildcard logic. Do not use wildcards within tamper protection centralized exceptions.
