  • 1.  Are there any known issues of RU 6 causing e-mail (Outlook) to respond slowly?

    Before I go blaming this latency on RU 6 I just wanted to check and see if any others may be or are encountering the same thing? I have several users who are reporting either delayed e mails or latency when attempting to open them? The only change I made was I bumped these PC's to RU6, I don't want to blame the upgrade, and I will  try to find a root cause, but I would like to know if this can present an issue with Outlook?

    Do you have Outlook auto protect on?

    If so, as a test, remove it on one machine and see what happens

    Nothing has been reported uptill now.
    That may be a co incidence. if Outlook was working fine before it should work after the upgrade too

    Since I reverted to RU5, I've had no problems.  When I get time to test again, I'll try RU6A.

    For communications, your issues seem to be quite similar to mine.
