  • 1.  are there new features in RU7 ?

    Hello, I would like to know if there're new features in RU7, or is this only a bug fix ?

    I  read the 'Release note' but it only list bug fix.

    These are the  new features added to RU7.

     

    The current release includes the following improvements that make Symantec Endpoint Protection and Symantec Network Access Control easier and more efficient to use:

    • Certified support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1
    • Firewall support for mobile broadband adapters

    Apart from that you are correct it mostly has Bug Fixes.

      RU7 was only released with the intent to fix bugs on previous versions .. hence does not contain any new features  however  its support  is expanded as below ..

    • Certified support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 1
