Endpoint Protection

I clicked on a PC which SEP THINKS is a Vista but it is a Windows7 64 Bit PC and I got this. So, this tells me that it is NOT the PC/SERVER or Network that is the issue, it is SEP and SEP alone that is misreading and therefore NOT pushing out the client as it should on some systems. Vista is not listed below, but that is what SEP sees on installation. I am amused by it because NO Vista system has ever been on my LAN/WAN

Legacy Symantec Endpoint Protection clients that run on some older Windows operating systems cannot be upgraded to newer client version. Older Windows operating systems that are not supported include:

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP (prior to SP2)
• Windows 2003 (prior to SP1)

I know I am really hammering this point home, but it really is causing very frustrating issues.

Didn't you have a case open on this?

I pulled it, this is with a MAJOR production server and I do not want to get expeimental with it. Too many things to try here and there and the risks outweighed the benefits.

You can see what RU2 MP1 does when it comes out. I checked for release notes but nothing available yet.
