Around 750 Image Cleanup Jobs running

Hi Friends,
I have around 750+ image cleanup jobs running in my environment.Is there any way to reduce these jobs or do something to get them to complete sooner.I'm not sure what to do as I'm seeing so many cleanup jobs for the first time.
Netbackup Version -: NetBackup 7.1.0.1
OS: -Solaris10 64 Bit

You catalog and EMM database may have grown in size and is taking longer to do the housekeeping.
