Hi All..

Can netbackup search displays information about barcode from tape that is used from the file I'm looking for ?

because until now, i cannot look it..

 

Any Idea for this case.

The easiest way to find media-id is to use the Backup Archive and Restore GUI to browse client's backup, locate the file/folder that you are looking for, then click on the 'Preview Media' icon.

If the file was part of a large backup that spanned multiple tapes, all the tapes in the backup set will be listed.

In Netbackup 7.5, Netbackup search doesn't display Media-ID information.

In Netbackup 7.6, we have Media-ID information on CSV and pdf reports under "Search and Hold" Tab.
