Hi all,

We are working with ITMS 7.1, and we are going to start a project in which we are going to use Asset Management Suite for SW License management and compliance.I need to create some procedures, as most of data loading is going to be done by a vendor, and I have been working in our preproduction environment over Purchase, License, Contract, Product and other items,and although I have understood some of the fields, I am unable to understand other ones. User manual doesn't describe which is the purpose of each window fields, or it doesn't refer to them... Do you know if there is a manual, tutorial or something similar which explains each fields meaning and functionalities?

You can use the ITMS online help from the following cloud location: http://symhelp04.elasticbeanstalk.com/Welcome?locale=EN_US

Select Asset Management User Guide from the left panel before using the search to get more focused results. Alternatively, you can use the browse option to drill down to the topics that might interest you.

Thanks for the feedback. I will analyze all the information. However my concerns are about each Contract, License or SW Purchase page field functionalities.

For example, if you access to Software License creation there are 32 fields. I can understand the purpose of some of them, but it would be great to understand which is the purpose of each one, how do they work or relation with other fields... I mean, a user manual well defined and structured, showing screeenshots or examples and explaining each fields meaning, purpose... I feel quite lost with this documentation.
