I want to be able to "date" our pc's easily. We still do NOT have an efficient way to run a "pc age" report when those are requested by upper managment, any ideas or suggestions?

Please clarify what you mena by PC age.

Is this when the corporate image was last deployed to it, or when the asset first arrived at the company?

Both scenarios should allow you to use the resources creation date, unless a resource merge isnt performed or if the asset wasant recorded in AMS.

If you populated it you could also use the Available_for_Use field under the Purchase or Lease section. We use that field to list the actual purchase date of all of our assets.

We are trying to use Altiris to run a pc age report, which means try to at least pull a date deployed or date purchase, we wont to be able to pull a report for our oldest to new pc's, hope that makes sense.
