Asset Management Suite

The error i'm getting is:

Failed to update 1 item(s). Additional Information:
Name=Computer-1, Reason=The current user does not have required permission 'read' to load item '9bdcdd03-be55-460d-9883-518cf7ec9927'.

After doing some digging this item is the ‘Ownership Details - Owner. Foreign Key’. I have no idea where I would set the read permission on this in the console.

I have also noticed that using the same account if I try to edit a computer (right click edit on the computer) the a generic error comes up for check the logs. I check the logs on the SMP, I get this:

System.Exception: createControlsForDataClasses Error: Guid=Cost Center Ownership (4aafad02-4ef3-48ef-82e6-6822a82f8da5), Name=Cost Center Ownership, OriginalError=The current user does not have required permission 'read' to load item 'Cost Center Ownership - Percentage. Foreign Key (c13c8b3e-b068-4b60-9d63-7ada5a85d1a1)'.

So it appears that something is going on with these Foreign Keys that I cannot view in the console.

I have duplicated the same permissions to the role this account is assigned to on a DEV SMP, works just fine. I then created a new role on the prod SMP with the same working permission from DEV, getting this error. I then uninstalled Asset Management that includes Barcode and CMDB then reinstalled.. same issue. Not sure what else to try..

Thoughts.. Ideas?

Got same issue. This appears to be a hidden area where the guid won't allow you to see, but you can push your way into the security dialog box:

This shows Asset Manangers and CMDB Managers with read permissions, with altiris administrators. I suppose that makes sense. I'll add Asset Managers to my support group since they will be doing this function.
