  • 1.  ATP 2 - Network scanner communication error

    Hello,

I have deployed ATP appliances at a customer site and they were configured to be management servers only. There are no network scanners.

When I logon there is a warning in the top right of the screen that says “ATP needs attention”. When you hover over it it says “Network scanner communication error with the management platform”.

I have gone through the ATP help site and Googled. Any ideas how to get rid of this?

    Kind regards,

    Cameron Mottus

In all circumstances, if there is only one ATP server deployed to a site it has to be configured in an "all-in-one" configuration.

So in this case, the ATP appliances need to be redeployed from scratch and set up to be all-in-one configurations.

I wanted to mention that but you said "appliances" so I didn't think it applied :)

Oh well. Glad you got it going.
