Every couple of weeks we have been having issues with our systems crashing.  They all crash (BSOD The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b) about the same time, and they usually do it multiple times in a row.  I ran windbg and it is pointing to atrsdfw.sys.  The address it is failing at is atrsdfw.sys+70fa .

    Systems are server 2008 r2 SP1, Using 6.9 SP4.

Anyone ever see this?  How do you remove the services that point at that file?  I have uninstalled the boot partition and the altiris client, but there are still a ton of entries in the registry that point at that file.  Can I remove these some way?

Ive tried upgrading to SP5, but then images fail to deploy, so that isnt a solution unfortunately =/

    Thanks for any insight!

    Hi,

Abhishek's problem is related to yours in that you are both pushing out RS to an unsupported platform.

He's having this problem on Windows7 clients which are supported only RS 6.2SP4 and above.

In your case, you are pushing out recovery solution to a server platform which is also not supported (it's a solution for clients). Simply remove the recovery solution client from your servers and you should be fine.

    Kind Regards,
    Ian./
