Hi

Just setup 12.5 for a client and everything appears to be working as is, except that attempting to send an SMTP email notification causes beserver.exe to crash out. The servers event log shows that LIBVXSMTPMAIL3I.DLL is the faulting module (The entire event log entry is posted below). Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Workaround

Have seen a similar case & the issue was with the system being set for a different time zone. You could try one of the following workarounds:

Either set the time zone on Backup Exec server to another time zone like UK, US
OR
use the MAPI notification option
