when you try to install

when you try to install software the autorun.inf file with the CD or the path will; not be executed if the autorun block is set on drives or CD.

Blocking Autorun.inf will not

Blocking Autorun.inf will not block any software installation of use of the application. Recent I have applied this policy on a very big organization and everything is running fine from atleast a month.

Download this policy.Dat file

Download this policy.Dat file and import in your SEPM.

http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH104909

Then edit the policy. Then Copy the Autorun.inf Rule and then paste it in your Application control rule that you are using.
