  • 1.  Authentification sur partage de bibliothèque

    Bonjour,

    Merci..

Software Library is a Software Delivery Solution issue, not Deployment Solution.  The only thing we have in DS that is close to that is the Deployment Share, but that can't be on a UNC, so I'm pretty sure you'll need help from SWD.  Unfortunately, you chose DS.  hmmm...  Endpoint Managment might find someone.  Maybe.  I'll try one other thing too - I know someone that is pretty good with French...

    Yet thanks for you response.

Software Library is a Software Delivery Solution issue, not Deployment Solution

When i use "import library", which is the component used ? I thought the deployment solution is used only for ghost data, is it not ??

Deployment Share, but that can't be on a UNC

No, my software share library is stored in the unc path, and it works, but the problem is that i need to have fullaccess write in unc path, and it is not secure.

When you "import library" - per my recollection of the console which is NOT in french (sorry), it is for software packages, and ghost packages should NOT be kept there.  Unfortunately, I am not aware of the rules of access for the Software Library, but I am aware that most customers keep this on the same server as the Management Platform is installed.

Ghost images can be imported using the Resource Import/Export tool into Deployment Solution, but they will not appear in the Software Library - they will become packages that are stored in the deployment share (\\SMP_server_name\Deployment) under task handlers\images.  For them, UNC is not a possibility, though HTTP access is.

So I am pretty sure you need help from the Software Delivery team who understands the library better than I do.  Especially when it comes to finding custom security.  :-)
