  • 1.  Auto Log in for resolution of calls

    Posted Nov 09, 2010 08:40 AM

    Hi,

Just about to go live with ServiceDesk 7 and was wondering if there is a way to make the log in when prompted to close the call automatic just like it does when logging into the ServiceDesk portal?

Performed a demo of our system and the main gripe people was having is with having to log in each time we resolve a call and they then have to log in to close it.

Please let me know if you need any more information

    Thanks,

    Martin

We do all our work from the portal and once logged in, we don't have to authenicate again, unless i mis understand what you are saying.

Yes i think you might be, When we resolve a call it sends the user an email to state it and it also has a link in the email to close the call. When they click on this link it takes them to a log in page which is different to the standard portal. Once logged in (a manual process) it askes them if they want to reopen or resolve the call.

I have attached a screen shot of the log in page that the link in the email takes a user to.

    Thanks,

    Martin
