  • 1.  Auto-Login PC not triggering Logged-in user software delivery

    Posted Jan 05, 2012 07:01 AM

We recently noticed some software jobs werent running on certain PC's. The job in question is set to run with a specific condition, that a user is logged on. The error message we are getting is saying that the job conditions (ie a logged in user) do not exist. However the PC's are logged into, albeit with one common issue, that they are all XP autologins - ie they have a preconfigured account in the registry and log in with this.

I wonder if this is a known issue, and as soon as I have said that, i realised I didnt search for the issue before posting because for some silly rreason I consider this to be a very obscure bug/issue. If anyone else could confirm I could raise with support or investigate and alternative?

We don't know if this was an issue in the end, but restarting/starting the agent service fixed it. Whether or not the client was faulty because it should have restarted or been running in the first place we will never know because we just ran a client re-install job on the target which fixed this. At least most of the agents were in a faulty state though, what the connection was with autologins is likely down to the machines never being restarted.
