At server almost 50 systems are reflected where auto protect off. how to repair?

Auto protect service is off because of PTP service issue. try the below link

check the policy, does restarting smc service makes the service to start?

Find the below forum which i have raised and after all steps i found that sytems PTP service is highlighted on clients and showing as waiting for update then i have tried the above link on all and it's helpful

What version of SEP 11.x are you using??

Could you check on all group policies, Tamper protection is checked and Locked.

To check the same follow:

1. Log in SEPM
2. Click on Clients
3. Highlight
4. Click on Policies TAB on the Right hand side.
5. Click on General Settings.
6. Click on Tamper Protection Tab
7. Make sure the Tamper protection is Checked and Locked.
8. Check all the Groups and Subgroups.

When anything like this happens, you get to know on the SEPM home screen like Autoprotect -Off, Antivirus Engine off and so on..

Yes, Faster way to resolve the issue is to Uninstall them and Reinstall the same.
