I've an issue in updating the clients to the latest update from the manager. All clients out of date even though the Windows Definitions on the home page is :

Latest from Symantec - 8/9/2014 r4

Latest on Manager: - 8/9/2014 r4

it works using LiveUpdate via internet connection. but i would like to make the clients take the update auto from the manager server. Not the internet.

i'll give it a try but i can't do that now. i'll give u the results tomorrow but do usually the definitions corruption is the reason for this issue ?

It could be one of a few reasons.

Does your policy tell the clients to get updates from the SEPM?

You can enable sylink debugging on one affected client to see what's going on

Yeah. i've checked "Use the default management server". and unchecked "Use LiveUpdate server".

did i do it right ?

Sounds right, now this policy is applied to all clients?

Yes. Assigned to the whole default group.

Yes. Green dots.

Thank you guys. I tried today again and pushed the SEP to new clients and all clients have got the latest definition. so SEP on clients are up to date now.

I don't know why it works now. but it does :p
