    Dear Team,

We have sucessfully Upgraded 2000 systems out of 2168 systems, but some of the Systems are still to be auto upgraded.

Some Systems ask for the Restart but after restart they are also not Auto Upgraded

Is there any Solution Besides Changing/Clearing the Registry value of the Systems

    hklm\system\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\PendingFileRenameOperations.

    Curent version:-12.1 Ru1 Mp1.

    Thanks & Regards.

    Anil.

    HI,

This registry setting only work when you can't be able install SEP client on system.

Try one or two system push client package

How to install clients using "Client Deployment Wizard" in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1

    Hi Ashish,

We have Tried Pushing but it didn't work also but its better to install manually on the remaining System rather than Manually Doing registry Changes.

    Hi Ashish,

We have tried manuall Installation it doesnt have any problem in that.

Is there any ulternate way to perform Auto upgrade of remaining Machines with some scripts that needs to be executed from server end.

    Hi,

Have you tried to identify those machines? Specific operating system clients are affected?

Are they in the same group?

Need to troubleshoot this issue further.

Create a new group and place affected 2-3 clients in that group.

Enable Sylink debug on those 2-3 client machines & collect the logs.

    How to enable sylink logging:

    1. From SEP UI->Help and Support->Troubleshooting->Debug Logs->Client Management->Edit Debug log settings->check 'Debug On'

    2. Add registry entry "DumpSylink"="C:\\Sylink.log" to "HKLM\Software\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC\SYLINK\Sylink"

    3. Restart smc service.

    Attach collected logs here.
