Autoconnect to session using -ja or -clone?

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I'm sure I had this working before but now I can't seem to get it working. I want to automatically connect to a session.

I am using this:

ghost32.exe -ja=autoz -sure –ib -rb

That doesn't work without clicking 'more' on the server and selecting a disk option ... usually 1.

I don't want to have to do that. I swear I had this working and now I lost my boot up script. ugh.

I just what Ghost to boot up and connect automatically. Can anyone help with this?

I have read elsewhere that it should be done like this:

ghost32.exe -clone,mode=restore,src=@MCautoz,dst=1 -sure -rb

That doesn't seem to work either.

What happens when you use the -clone switch ?

ghost32.exe -clone,mode=restore,src=@MCautoz,dst=1 -sure -rb

With the above in place, the clients should connect to the session "autoz" and the restore should progress automatically, provided you had specified the client count under Ghost Cast Server.

I'll try it but I am wondering wehat the difference is and which way is recommended.

Either will auomate the client to connect to the Ghost Cast server .With -JA and -JADDR the disk selection should be made under Ghost Cast Server ,which again will populate the -Clone command under Ghost Cast Server. With -clone we are directly autmating the restore, but the package will only serve restore process and for creation a separate package should be created (i.e. with this command ghost32.exe -clone,mode=create,src=1,dst=@MCautoz -sure -rb)
