    Hi,

I have in my organization 20-30 linux servers (Centos).

The network is "closed" network and does not have an internet access.

The Windows workstations update with the SEPM (I put a jdb file in the SEPM manager every day)

What is the best way to update the linux servers in "closed" network?

    Thanks

You can configure the SEPM as a reverse proxy to provide LU content to Linux clients. See this KB article on how to do so: http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO85034 Let me know if you have questions. Thanks, Brian

What those referenced instructions don't include, is how to get the updates into the cache-root folder?  I am in the same situation as the OP, closed network and we update the Windows clients in the same mannor.  The linux clients are done manually, but we would like to move to the reverse proxy method.  I configured it as a test case and I get errors in the Access log in apache on the SEPM server looking for livetri.zip and minitri.flg.  Is there a way to get the linux update files without LU?  I tried putting the .sh update file that we normally use in the cache-root folder, with no success.  Thanks!
