  • 1.  Automatically delete clients after offline 7+ days in SEPM?

    Posted Feb 17, 2014 05:06 PM

I am currently being required to remove clients after 7 days offline to generate a cleaner report of virus defs on machines older then 7 days that is sent around my company everyday. This is taking up more time then I would prefer, is there a way to script or setup this to happen automatically by chance? Thank you in advance this community has helped me out a numbers of times in the recent past and I appreciate it every time.

Just upgraded to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1 RU4a this weekend.

You can have the SEPM auto do this

Admin page >> Domains >> Edit Domain Properties

Tick the box for "Delete clients that have not connected for specified time" and set it to 7 days

Purging obsolete clients from the database to make more licenses available

Is there an article on this already Brian? I would be extremely interested in setting that up.
