  • 1.  Automatically Update all SEP clients with different date and rev.

    Posted Dec 09, 2014 02:37 AM

    Hi,

I am using the SEPM 12.1 RU2 with 15000 clients include 2000 GUPs. the GUPs are located in different location and maximum gups are out of date containing different definition date and rev.

I want to know that, Is there any possibility to update all the GUPs in same time from SEPM.

    Point to Note.

    1. We have very limited bandwidth in network from GUP to SEPM.i.e 64 kbps

    2. The client systems do not have Internet facility.

    3. We don't have any Live Update Server.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Symantec community.

I would be glad to answer your query.

GUP machines can not be updated manually. GUP machines can only take updates from the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM).

Need to troubleshoot why GUP's are not updated. You can target those GUP's who are not updated from long time.

Refer these articles to start troubleshooting.
