  • 1.  Autoprotect "Scan when modified" on Linux Machines

    Hi!

I am using SAV for Linux on some of our client´s machines. As Management i use Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1. Everything works fine afaik.

But i cant handle 2 things. Tried do find out something in the Doc + Search, but didnt find a solution:

First - when autoprotect is running on the (supported Kernel 2.6.32.5) Linux-Machine, the processor-usage is about 80%. Thats too high for me. So is there any way to set the autoprotect mode on "Scan when modified"? Or is there another way to configure the autoprotect feature, without compiling the kernel?

And last but not least, im having problems joining Groups with the Machines. I only configured the reportred.ini with the group-name, but it didn´t work. Do i have to do something particular?

    Thx for your Help!

    Best Regards from Austria

Is my English too lousy? Do i need to change something on the text, or is it just impossible? Any suggestions would be really appreciated!
