Hi,

I am getting the following error when running a back-up job:

V-79-57344-65033 - Directory not found. Cannot backup directory

I have edeited the selection list to remove the directory, as it is has been migrated to another server but each day it returns to the list. I do not understand why this is? Can someone help me on this? Cheers. Seamus

Open selection list and look for the directory under "View selection details" tab (Text View)

Just like AmolZeroCool says it will be still in the detailed selection list.

If you remove a folder from a server BackupExec will still try to back it up.

Even if it is not there anymore.

In the Browse selection list it is not selected anymore because it is not there anymore.

In the detailed it will still be there and it can be removed by selecting it and clicking on remove.

Br,

Erik

When I go into edit the selection list and check the 'view by resource' and 'view selection details' tab, the directory is not selected but after the job runs the directory appears back in the 'view selection details' tab. It keeps returning.

Have you tried creating a new selection list?

No. I may have to go down this route.

...you can also try repairing the BEDB as per the TN below:

Thanks!
