I have tried to remove Backdoor.tidserv, downloader, trojan.adclicker from a XP laptop for weeks. It is a client antivirus corp v10.1. I have followed all instructions ( Disable Restore, Update virus defs, restart in safe mode, run full system scan, delete the value in registry, etc) But it keeps coming back. The value in the registry might be the problem becauce I can't find it.
When I run full scan (in safe made) Antivirus finds Backdoor.tidserv in unknown storage. Says reboot required-partial. Count 8. Is 8 the number of occurrences or files?
Can you please advise.
