This issue has been solved. See solution.

I want to know if it is possible to backup cluster servers in Vcenter by browsing directly from netbackup policy into vcenter. For example i have two windows virtual servers A & B which are clustered. Is it possible to added them to backup policy and achieve successful backup without installing netbackup agent on them.

You can browse vCenter and select both the clustered nodes individually

simple!!

If You need to backup only clusterd servers , back them up using virtual name  (requires NBU client on guest vm)

make sure name resolution works properly (harden host file if required)

 Cheers !!!

There is an entire section on RDMs in that document. It clearly states that a VM with a RDM must have the NBU client installed in it to be able to capture the RdM contents.

I'm assuming you are using RDM devices to support your cluster (assuming MSCS).

As well as the excellent virtualization support guide above referenced by @ssumi, I would draw your attention to this VMware techdoc. Discusses MSCS in VMware.

Tip: Get overview/document your NBU environment. Run 'nbsu' and review the output.
