We are currently looking at a complete rethink to how our web server is backed up and would like to ghost the full system not just take snapshots of our data. We have a server sitting on our DMZ and it was mentioned in the office that perhaps we could ghost it. So my question/s is/are:
Is it a good idea to ghost a web server?
How would I ghost a server sitting on our DMZ?
Could I schedule this task?
Are there any better solutions? What do you guys do?
Any horror stories?
Sorry for this to be a bit of an open discussion, I would just like to get an idea of what other firms are doing.
