Backup of closed partitions (Enterprise Vault components)

Hi, Quick question. Will netbackup put Vault Stores into backup mode during backup of closed partitions?
NetBackup: 7.0.1
Enterprise vault: 9.0.4
OS of master adn media: Win2k8 R2 ent 64bit

I have never worked with Enterprise Vault so I can only point you in the right direction. There is a Netbackup agent for Enterprise Vault.

If you are using the agent and it is all setup correctly then it should put them into backup mode to prevent any changes (expiry of items / deletion of items etc)
There was mention that it only puts them in backup moide whilst it creates the snapshot and then releases them as it then backups up the snapshot.
How it is done is dependant on your version of EV and whether you use the agent or not

I read the guide once again (read many time before that) and found that it will not put Vault Stores into backup mode while doing backup of closed partitions. it is mentioned in the guide.
