how can I use SAN shared storage option in backup exec 11d as I have a serial key for the said agent.Presently I connected the san with media server and now it shows up in Mycomputer drives.From media server I create a backup to disk folder and locate the path of san drive.

any needfull advice

SSO allows you to share a storage device (such as a tape drive) which is connected to a SAN between multiple BE media servers. You need an SSO license for each media server.If you only have a single media server, you don't need SSO.

I have a only one media server and i used san as backup to disk folder. is there any issue?

SAN SSO license is not required...Map the SAN drive...share it + provide full permissions...create a B2D over here ...
