Hi

we have setup some backups to disk for our public folders (to restore individual folders etc) however we need some way to remove the old backups automatically.

Any ideas?

BackupExec 11D had some

BackupExec 11D had some issues with how IMG folders for GRT backups were removed - as it only removed them as the B2D volume starts to fill up.
The 12.x version of Backup Exec tries to remove 1 IMG per Information Store in the job (as long as Media Set rules allow) instead of waiting for the volume to fill up.

So recommend upgrading to 12.x versions and using appropriate media set rules

Is that on the Clinet

Is that on the Clinet (Exchange) or the Backup Exec Server.
