the links you gave are wrong. and they are not related to my problems.
maybe they only related in the key word "live update".
i m sorry. but you try to answer my question many times. your always give links
that are not helpful. i think maybe you just look at the keyword in the post, and search
the document which contain the keyword.
maybe your are just a keyword robot? i really need an human engineer to solve

Backup Exec 11d will install LiveUpdate 3.0 if that version of LiveUpdate is not already installed. LiveUpdate should be getting updates from the same location as it did before installing Backup Exec 11d (an internal LiveUpdate server if it was set up that way).

i don't want to use internal liveupdate server. the internal liveupdate server
is for symantec antivirus, not for backup-exec.how do i configure backup-exec
to use its own settings, not symantec antivirus settings?
