Backup exec 12 crash my server

Created: 04 Sep 2012 | 3 comments

Hi everyone,

Every time I did a backup on tape the server crashes at the same time 42minutes after the start of the job.

Is there some logs in BE that could be intersting for me ?

I've already seen the log_bengine.txt but I only got this info :

[3396] PERFORMANCE WARNING: previous object type: MD_OBJTYPE_ACTIVEJOBEX
[3396] PERFORMANCE WARNING: GetByteSize incorrect, finding object type...

a lot of time (every 5 seconds) before the crash of the server.

BE updates ok, update of the tape drive firmware ok update of the scsi and tape drive driver ok.

Tx !

Hi

Are there any mini dumps generated during the crash ,search for *.dmp file. Also ensure BE 12.0 is fully patched with sp5 and all updates and if stilll the issue persist please contact support to investigate this

Thanks

Hi, BE is updated with the latest fix, sp and patches, I verify this with LiveUpdate.

No dmp file generated unfortunately.
