My company is considering retrospect, I am used to Backup Exec.

If anyone here knows retrospect, would u please tell me of the pros and cons of retrospect vs Backup exec.

Any comment would be highly appreciated.

Everyone could go on and on

Everyone could go on and on about this and that, there are product matrix's for feature by feature comparisons...

But the reality is that all products can move data from A to B.  It's how it gets moved, how to get it back to A, and the extra bells and whistles that really make a product shine...

How about start with your current environment (e.g. what do you need to backup, what applications, how many servers)
Then any particular business requirements and technical requirements that are needed in said new Backup Application.

From there, a better answer could be made about which is better than the other.

Just for your information, we're all going to say BackupExec is better :-)

There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."
