Backup Exec 12.5 Policy created job "Ready, No media server"

I have a policy that creates 8 backup Jobs submitted to run at 11:45 PM. The jobs target a Device Pool containing 5 B2D Folders. Each folder is configured to "allow 4 concurrent jobs for this backup to disk folder".  Every night the same job is in a "Ready,No Media server available" state.  The job never leaves that state even after ALL of the back jobs handled by this 1 media server are completed. Recently this job was found in this state after being submitted to run on Dec 25. It was manually started and completed on Jan 23.  Jobs created by the policy targeting the same server Started and Ended immediately flagged as MISSED during this time frame.  The policy incorporates 3 schedules Daily Weekly and Monthly.  This job has run successfully in the past.  Any Ideas why this would be.

Hi there,

Go into the job again, and set the effective date as today and see if it runs. I'd suggest starting the job as soon as possible, and if it runs into that same error again, see if there is an active alert you need to respond too.

Also, check to see if you have enough disk space available, and that it is being targetted correctly at your B2D folder.

Thanks!
